Hello Catmom!
I think your idea is just fabulous! In a strange twist, I have been thinking about doing this locally. I certainly know there is a need for this on both ends. I belong to a site called WTO GRANDPARENTS. It is owned by the woman who wrote Stop Walking on Eggshells. It is for grandparents who have lost their grands because of mental disorderes in their children or in law children.
There are still some grandmothers who have limited contact with their grands – but it is so very difficult. I will be glad to post your site there! I am in the Philadelphia area. Wishing and hoping that I could connect with a family who needs a wonderful Granny – or Gigi as I am called. If I can help you in any way, please let me know! You go girl!

Dear Catmom,
I had another thought. How about sending a mass email to churches. In the ‘olden days’ this information would be posted on the bulletin board for all to see. Perhaps they will post your link in the Sunday flyer. You could just google the churches in larger cities and suburbs and then send out the email to the church secretary or the one who seems to be in charge. It is such a worthwhile cause.
I wish you luck!
Terry
